Not everything learned at school comes from a math, reading, or English lesson. Some lessons are bigger than that. Before elementary basketball games, some of our 8th grade girls have been helping the 3rd and 4th grade girls get game-ready by fixing their hair. What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into something even more special. These moments are building wonderful relationships between our older and younger students, giving the younger girls role models to look up to and the older girls a chance to lead by example.
Kindness, leadership, encouragement, and taking care of others are lessons that can last a lifetime. It is a sweet reminder that some of the most important learning happens outside of a textbook and that the best teamwork does not always happen on the court. 🏀❤️

What’s happening in Mrs. Davis’s class: Our class has been working hard creating posters for the Soil Conservation Poster Contest! We are so proud of Aspyn who placed 1st, and Anslee who placed 2nd in the county! Both girls are advancing to the district contest! Way to go, girls!
We are also loving Soft Seven for a little friendly math competition! The kids are having fun practicing their math skills while challenging one another!
