Mrs. Lott shares: The fourth graders have been setting new goals to finish out their year in the fourth grade.  We have been studying snowflakes in Science and how each are unique.  We have read “ Snowflake Bentley,” and learned that he never gave up to accomplish his goal of capturing the beauty of every snowflake possible. We are learning how we are all unique, a wonderful design, and to never give up!  The class had a great time making snowflakes from toothpicks and marshmallows.

Ms. Crocker in 3rd grade shares: In October, our 3rd graders began a special science and literacy project based on the book Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell. To stay on theme with our classroom, we named our pumpkin "Jack, the Pumpkin Cactus!" It has been amazing to watch the decomposition and regrowth process right before our eyes. Jack has grown so many sprouts that we hope every student will soon have their very own sprout to take home and plant! Check out the transformation from where we started to where we are now.
